Why IASI sets CE standards
IASI establishes continuing education standards to:
- Maintain practitioner competency
- Encourage professional growth
- Promote the health and safety of the community
- Support thoughtful development of Structural Integration practice
- Support emerging research and information related to Structural Integration
IASI is based in the U.S., and its CE standards are designed to work across the diverse regulatory environments where Structural Integration is practiced worldwide.
CE and Board Certification
Board Certified Structural Integrators (BCSI) must complete continuing education to keep active certification. Recertification happens every two years and requires:
- 24 total CE hours
- At least 12 SI-specific CE hours
IASI-approved CE classes count as SI-specific hours for BCSI recertification. CE standards are governed independently from initial education programs, as part of the certification maintenance framework.

How CE is governed
Continuing education standards are set by IASI policy and reviewed by the IASI Education Committee. The Committee:
- Reviews provider applications
- Evaluates individual class submissions
- Ensures alignment with SI standards
- Reviews complaints and disciplinary matters
- Recommends corrective action when necessary
Every provider and class application is evaluated on instructor qualifications, curriculum alignment, learning objectives, evaluation methods, and ethical compliance.
Recognition as a CE Approved Provider (CEAP) follows Education Committee review. Recognition lasts two years and may be modified, suspended, or revoked for failure to comply with IASI standards or policies.
