Rejoining as a member
If your membership has lapsed:
- Choose the membership level that fits your current situation.
- Submit your renewal.
- Update your contact information.
There's no penalty for returning.

If you're not sure which level applies, contact us and we'll help.
If you previously held Board Certification (BCSI)
- Your certification status may need review.
- Continuing education documentation may be required.
- Recertification requirements may apply, depending on how long your certification has been lapsed.
Reinstatement is handled individually under current policy, and we'll guide you through the steps.
If you previously had Professional Plus
- Insurance coverage doesn't continue while your membership is lapsed.
- Renewing Professional Plus restarts enrollment processing with ABMP.
