Membership levels
IASI offers several membership levels to support practitioners and supporters at different stages of their professional journey. Levels vary by eligibility, benefits, and region.
Professional Plus (U.S. only)
For practicing Structural Integrators who want to bundle professional liability insurance through ABMP with their membership.
Professional
For practicing Structural Integrators who want to take part fully in the professional community.
Candidate
For students currently enrolled in a Structural Integration training program.
Supporting
For retired practitioners, non-practicing professionals, and anyone who wants to stay connected to the profession.

Candidate (student member)
Currently enrolled in Structural Integration training.
Graduate
Completed an IASI Recognized Basic Training.
Professional member
An active practitioner taking part in the professional community.
Board Certified (BCSI)
Demonstrated competency through examination and ongoing continuing education.
Leader, educator, or volunteer
Contributing to governance, certification, education, mentorship, and professional advancement.
There's no single way to move through this journey. Some members stay focused on active practice. Others pursue certification. Many contribute through teaching or volunteer service. Each path strengthens the profession.
Membership and certification are different
Board Certification (BCSI) is a professional credential, not a membership level. BCSI indicates:
- Graduation from an IASI Recognized Basic Training
- Passing the Certification Exam for Structural Integration (CESI)
- Ongoing recertification through continuing education
A member may hold BCSI in addition to Professional or Professional Plus membership. Certification demonstrates competency. Membership expresses belonging and participation in the professional community.
Insurance and professional benefits
Professional Plus membership (U.S. only) includes bundled professional liability insurance through Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP), which administers coverage, policy terms, and claims.
Good to know
- Insurance is included only with Professional Plus (U.S.) membership.
- Coverage is subject to ABMP terms and conditions.
- Board Certification (BCSI) is separate from insurance benefits.
- Membership renews annually.
